Confirmation:

Thanks for joining us for this year's Season Finale. Here is some information about the weekend you may want for your reference.

Crew Members & Guests: Please be aware that this is not a spectator event. There is no gate fee; however, your family members, crew and guests are encouraged to arrive during the hours that VDCA Registration is open to obtain their credentials. The $30 over-crew charge is for dinner Saturday. Dinner for the driver and two crew members is included in your entry. You can add other names to your crew list.

Test Days: The BMW club will be conducting a race school on Thursday and VDCA members can join; see BMW for Registration (the link is posted on our VDCA MSR page).

Garages for Rent: Roebling Road offers covered garage bays for rent which includes electricity. Call the track directly to reserve (912) 748-4205 or ask at the race track front gate when you arrive. VDCA is not involved.

Access to the Paddock: Since another renter has the track on Thursday, we cannot assure you that you will be allowed into the paddock until 5PM. Please, keep in mind that VDCA registration will not be open until Thursday afternoon. Please be considerate and polite to the Gate staff. If you arrive before VDCA Registration is open, go to the track window to sign their waiver and to pay for electric hook up if you are using it. They will give you a sticker for your power cord.

Access to the paddock does not constitute being registered for the weekend with VDCA. When you are able to cross over from the paddock, come back to VDCA registration to obtain your credentials and registration packet. Without your wristband and tech form, you will NOT be able to race.

There will be a guard at the Gate all night: If you wish access to the paddock earlier than Thursday for dropping your rig, contact the track manager Jack Abbott directly at (912) 748-4205 or info@roeblingroad.com. The track also now has a few golf carts to rent. Contact them directly.

Tech & Registration: Registration will open at 2:00 PM Thursday in the Registration building at the gate and remain open until 6:00 PM Thursday evening. Tech will also be open these same hours. Registration and Tech will re-open on Friday. There will be plenty of time to get everyone processed and to the grid.

Tire Service: SASCO may once again provide tire service at the track. Call them directly if you wish to order tires delivered at the track: SASCO (434) 822-7200, e-mail info@sascosports.com.

Fuel Service: The track will be selling fuel during the weekend. There is now a trailer where cans of gas are sold at certain hours of the day.

Quiet Time: Sunday morning’s quiet time from 11 AM until NOON is strictly enforced. No race engines may be started or run. Please observe this rule to help RRR maintain good relations with its neighbors. No race engines are allowed 8:00pm to 8:00am.

Enduro: Sign up for Sunday morning’s Enduro at Tech on Friday and Saturday morning. The sign-up sheet goes away at noon on Saturday.

Friday's "Happy Hour" Bracket Challenge Classic 3-car teams: Form your team and enter on the sign-up sheet at Tech. This is the infamous "bracket race" we've run the past years, creatively scored and judged by Doug Meis over a beer or three on Friday night. Each driver declares the lap time he/she will run. All cars take the green flag and scoring will be based on 3 categories: 1) accuracy of predicted lap times; 2) creativity of team names; and 3) decorations of the car, driver or paddock space. Wild card points can also be earned by bribing the judge (hint: Meis). Bribes will be awarded as door prizes at the Saturday night party (unless it is consumable and delicious and doesn't make it to the party!). The team with the best total score wins fabulous prizes which will be awarded at our Saturday night party.

Food and drink: Saturday Feature Races in the afternoon followed by dinner and fellowship at the track. VDCA drivers and their crew and registered guests are welcome to the Saturday dinner. Your wristband is your ticket to dinner.

See you at the track! Safe travels!
